Pioneer Recognized by Unilever Middle East for Outstanding Service
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia -- Pioneer is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by Unilever Middle East for its outstanding business partnership and services in 2007. The award was presented during a ceremony in November by Mohammed Wassim, Area Supply Manager of Unilever Middle East, on behalf of Said Gamei, Supply Management Director of Unilever North Africa and Middle East.
Pionner’s long-standing relationship with Unilever Middle East has included successful projects and campaign support for Lipton, Comfort, Knorr, Dove, Lux, Signal, Sunsilk, among others.
Pioneer Managing Director Akram Bandar accepted the award and attributed the customer oriented ethos of the Pioneer team to promoting and maintaining client relationships. Bandar said, “We are so proud to receive this award from Unilever Middle East. Our record of collaboration speaks to our shared values and vision of being leaders and trailblazers in our respective fields. I would also like to particularly thank Unilever-Saudi Arabia for its continued trust in our product, team and vision.”
The award comes on the heel on of a record-breaking year for Pioneer. “2007 marked a period of continued growth and industry-wide recognition for our team, and we look forward to building on this success in the future,” Bandar added.
Unilever Middle East was first established in Saudi Arabia in the 1930’s and opened its first factory in Jeddah in 1978 to supply homecare items. Since then, the company has expanded to UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Today, Unilever Middles East employs over 4,800 staff members.
